Tycoch campus Community Litter Picking Initiative

On May 3rd we are launching a litter picking initiative for our vocational learners based at Tycoch campus, in conjunction with the City & County of Swansea, local Councillor Cheryl Phillpott and Keep Wales Tidy. There will also be a special appearance from Swans’ ambassador Lee Trundle.

From May 3rd vocational tutor groups will be following four designated litter picking routes for one hour per week during tutorial – weather permitting of course! Each tutor group will be expected to carry out this activity once during the year; with over seventy tutor groups involved we will certainly make an impact and improve the local communities’ environment. Litter picking equipment (high vis vests and litter pickers) have been kindly donated by the City and County of Swansea and learners will be accompanied by staff and local police throughout the one hour activity.

Together we will make a difference!
